Car history: |
Here we have a very nice and solid Numbers Matching 1972 Corvette that is a very honest 75k mile car that has spent most of its life in the dry Texas region as can be seen with the bottom frame pics showing No Rust, Damage, and only the common dry surface rust and Texas dirt, so this is a No Worries survivor car that is a great driver. It is a 350/350 car that is still running its factory motor and point distributor, and runs great with no noise, smoke, or issue, with a great shifting trans and great brakes. The car is also equipped with Factory Air Conditioning that is all intact and works, but the blower motor is not working on High Speed. The Corvette looks just as clean as it does in these pics and video being they were all done over the last week, and the interior looks better in person than it does in the pics, so this car would fit in any local car show with no issue. As all drivers you can nitpick chips and imperfections from use over the years and an older respray, but this car is more than priced reasonably for a very respectable buy that fits well for a driver quality car, because who wants to pay top dollar for a Trailer Queen you are afraid to drive? All the Vacuum Headlights and Wiper door work fine, but they are typically slow but sure. The Power Windows and interior electrical works fine, and all the gauges work short of the clock. The interior is still the factory interior and has held up very well over the years, and if I was going to do anything to it, I would replace the rear cargo area carpet. This car is obviously equipped with factory T-tops, but it also has the factory removable rear glass for better window down cruising, but that isn't necessary when you have the factory AC system. Sold for $18,500 on February 8, 2017. Sold again for $16,700 on February 21, 2017. |
